Terms and Conditions of Participation
1. Program Overview
The Fun2Hoop Summer Tune-Up Series is an 8-week basketball development program designed for motivated youth ages 12–17 who are preparing for school tryouts and want to strengthen fundamentals, confidence, and game understanding. This is not a recreational league or a beginner program — it’s focused, small-group training built around growth on and off the court.
2. Attendance & Punctuality
Each training workshop is structured and builds on the last — consistent attendance is strongly encouraged.
Please arrive on time and be prompt for pick-up at the scheduled end time.
3. Payment, Refunds & Cancellation
The first session is free for new players.
Full payment ($275) must be submitted before the second session.
Payments are non-refundable, except in the event of program cancellation by Fun2Hoop.
In the event of severe weather or unexpected closures, we’ll do our best to reschedule, but makeups are not guaranteed.
4. Health, Safety & Emergency Info
Inform us in writing before the first session of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries.
If your child is sick (fever, flu-like symptoms, or contagious illness), please keep them home.
We reserve the right to request a doctor’s clearance if a player returns from injury or illness.
An emergency contact must be listed at registration and reachable during training hours.
5. Behavior & Sportsmanship
Players are expected to act with respect, maturity, and a willingness to learn.
There is zero tolerance for bullying, aggression, or repeated disruption.
Players who are consistently disrespectful or disruptive may be dismissed from the program without refund.
6. Training Expectations
Players should come with a positive attitude, be open to feedback, and ready to work hard.
No phones are allowed during training unless authorized for emergency use.
This is not a drop-in or scrimmage-based program — each workshop is part of a structured series.
We focus on coachability, consistency, and development, not just gameplay.
7. Media & Photo Consent
Fun2Hoop may take photos and videos during sessions to showcase training and promote future programs.
These may be used on our website, social media, or flyers.
8. Liability & Risk Acknowledgment
Basketball is a physical sport, and participants may experience injury.
By registering, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with participation.
Fun2Hoop, its staff, and Southside Community Center are not liable for injuries unless due to gross negligence.
Participants agree to release Fun2Hoop and all affiliates from liability related to participation in this program.
9. Communication & Updates
Program updates, schedule changes, or cancellations will be communicated via email and/or text.
Please ensure we have your most up-to-date contact information.
If you’re not receiving updates, contact us immediately.
